Sign up to give blood at our 2nd Annual Blood Drive on Saturday, February 5th, 2024. From 10 am - 4 pm. SNACKS PROVIDED

The blood drive is held on the Bloodmobile Bus at the Antelope Valley Mall located at 1233 W. Rancho Vista Blvd, Palmdale, 93551.

Paisanos and Pasta - Dinner and Silent Auction
Paisanos & Pasta is one of the Kiwanis Club of Palmdale West’s Largest Fundraisers of the year! This event is unlike any fundraiser you’ve ever experienced! We feature a delicious authentic Italian dinner, live entertainment, and a unique live auction augmented by numerous add-ons of wine and gift cards to entice your bidding.
All net proceeds directly benefit our local children, families, and veterans. Our Kiwanis Club provides college scholarships, purchase and personally deliver holiday meals and family gifts to
needy AV families, and provide hot meals with our Super Supper events. We support the Builders Clubs and Key Clubs in our local middle and high schools and recognize more than 25 “Student of the Month” awardees.
Recipients of our volunteer work include Grace Resources, Tech Trek, the Mobile Viet Nam Veterans Memorial for the Antelope Valley, and many other non-profit organizations.

The Christmas Giving Program
Sponsor a Family in Need
​
Each year our Kiwanis Club selects 30 - 35 families in need during the Christmas season. These are families that, without additional help, would not be able to enjoy the Christmas season. We provide food for approximately one week, including a Christmas dinner, as well as Christmas gifts for the children and one gift for each parent. You can sponsor a family for $300 by clicking the Donate button or donate any amount to help us meet our goal of serving 35 families.
Books for Babies
Donate a new unused hardback book for our Books for Babies Program. Newborn babies, arriving in the Month of March, will receive a new unused hardback book that includes positive parenting tips and a free login for Footsteps to Brilliance. The month of March is celebrated as Read Across America month supporting reading and the love of literature.
Soup’er Supper Program
The Soup’er Supper Program provides meals for families in need every fifth Tuesday of the
month. In partnership with Desert Winds Community Church our Kiwanis Club of Palmdale
West either prepares or purchases a meal for approximately 25 – 40 people.
Student of the Month & Year Program and
Antelope Valley College Scholarship Endowment
For the last twenty-five years, Palmdale School District has partnered with the Kiwanis Club of
Palmdale West in the celebration and recognition of students who exemplify the character traits:
Trustworthy, Responsible, Safe, and Respectful. Monthly, students are selected at each school
site and at the end of the year, one student from each school site is selected as the Site Student of
the Year. Among those outstanding candidates, one student, who is attending Antelope Valley
College and completes the scholarship application provided by AVC, will be selected to receive
the scholarship funds produced by this endowment.
